Meet Kerry “Designer” Steiner, a nickname that was coined in high school and still holds true today. Kerry has been in the design industry, in many facets, over the last 30+ years.

Kerry started his education at The Art Center in Pasadena, California with a focus on fashion and textiles. He continued his training with Federated Department stores as a manager and buyer.

In 2001, he opened, designed, and ran a group of restaurants and a special event venue with a lifelong friend.

Kerry joined IHG Hotel Group in 2008, designing restaurants and guest rooms from Key West to St. Augustine, and joined the prestigious design team at J Turner & Co in early 2022.

Meet Troy!  An Iowa native turned Floridian.  Troy entered the home furnishings industry in 2018 and immediately fell in love with helping clients turn their house into a home! Troy loves the everchanging showrooms, all the customization options and huge selection of in stock product J Turner has to offer their clients!  

When not at work he enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting outside, loves to travel and enjoys taking care of his wolf pack.  Troy and his husband are “pawrents” to 5 adorable pups – Leo, Chester, Franklin, Luca, and Walter.

Kate Boserup, brings J Turner & Co. a colorful two decades of interior design and business experience.  Kate began her design and space planning career on the famed Abbott Kinney Blvd in Venice, California while finishing her college degree.

Over the years, her clients have included A-list Hollywood celebrities, producers, writers, and actors. Her past and current design projects include luxury residential and some commercial.

Kate enjoys the creative process and especially the interaction, getting to learn where aesthetic meets function for the client.

Fun facts: Kate has been hostess to numerous fundraisers in New York and Los Angeles, is well versed in antiques and appraisal, and speaks Danish.  Her versatility, ability to connect with customers and their design visions, and her keen eye, make her truly a valued member of the J Turner team. 

Outside of work, Kate enjoys tennis, swimming, traveling, art, spending quality time with close friends and family and especially Dogs. 

Meet Heather! Her Southern California roots have shaped a laid-back coastal design aesthetic. Growing up in Los Angeles, she spent her days surfing, painting, and capturing the world through photography. Her journey has taken her through Palm Springs, Emerald Isle, Newport News, and San Diego—each place leaving its mark on her design style.

With a passion for every aspect of home design, she has experience in retail management, visual merchandising, and even owning a resort-style boutique. After becoming licensed, she ran her own interior design firm for eight years, specializing in investment properties across Florida. One of her most memorable projects was restoring a 100-year-old historic home in downtown St. Augustine, balancing preservation with modern updates.

Her style? Elevated modern beach bungalow—natural wood tones, metals, and pops of color in art and decor. She loves layering textures, bold patterns, and lush greenery to create spaces that feel like a vacation, every day.
